Do any of you play one or all of the NBA video games. I have a PS3 and I am trying to decide which game I should get for it. I got live 08 last year and was very disappointed.

I have NBA Live 08 for 360 and I'm getting it for 09 too.

Yes I am leaning towards getting NBA 09 myself. THe story mode sounds awesome. I was just wondering what people thought of 2k9. I like MLB 08 the show so that is what makes me think that NBA 09 will be so awesome. I was just making sure I should go with that and not NBA 2k9.

Guess you would have to test them both, maybe if you get lucky they will have them set up at the store.

2K9 looks incredible! The pictures are exact copies of KG, shoes, movements of the players... Everything! I never really got into the 2K sports series. It seems to complex to me sometimes... I strayed away from NBA Live though. Even though it is more simplistic that 2K. I don't know really... I don't really play basketball video games all that much. I'm into racing, FPS, adventure, etc.

dude no. nba 09 the inside is where it's at. Step inside the life is freaking awesome. Have any of you guys tried it?

ever since I got a Xox360 when it first came out, I've enjoyed the NBA 2k series much more than Live. Idk, Live has lost it's touch a little to me. I really enjoyed the 98' version when you could fully customize a creat-a-team. The jersey's, the court and jersey colors and all and logo editor. Why dont they bring that back? The NBA 2K series lets you create a team but you cant customize the logo or anything. anybody know any details of the NBA 2k9 and NBA Live 2009?

I have NBA 2k9 for PC but I use a 360 controller. the graphics and gameplay are amazing, I have never had so much fun playing a basketball game. Every friend that has come over thought that they were watching a live game for a second, its great!
