Trades

• Portland purchased the 27th pick in the draft from the Hornets for cash considerations.

• Bobcats trade a protected future first round pick to the Nuggets for the 20th pick in the draft.

• Raptors trade T.J. Ford, Rasho Nesterovic, and the 17th pick in the draft to the Pacers for Jermaine O'Neal. There will be an additional player or players added by the Raptors to match salaries, Ford will be a Base Year Compensation (BYC) player so the trade cannot officially be completed until July 9th.

• Nets trade Richard Jefferson to the Bucks for Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons.

• The Clippers and Sonics have agreed to swap picks as long as the Wolves take O.J. Mayo at No. 3. If Mayo isn't drafted at 3, the deal is off according to two sources close to the information. This is from ESPN

• Portland trades Jarrett Jack, Josh McRoberts and the rights to Brandon Rush to the Pacers for Ike Diogu and the rights to Jerryd Bayless.

From what I gather, it can't be officially completed until July 9th because of Ford's BYC status, but for all basic purposes it has been completed. Actually I sort of like this deal better for the Pacers, as I think O'Neal is overrated and oft-injured. T.J. Ford can be a solid PG and Rasho is a serviceable backup, but I think they can pick up a nice player with the 17th pick.

That closes out the lottery. I really question the Kings pick and I personally like the Warriors pick. Jerryd Bayless will be a good player, but I question the fit with the potential Pacers-Raptors trade. Brandon Rush was an excellent pick by the Blazers, they could challenge for a title within the next 2-3 years.
