| Re: Who Is the NBA's Most Improved Player? Really. He sure gave the god-like Kobe Bryant a fit. Kid had like 7 steals last night. He is definately not just an average player. If he works harder on his outside jumper and finishing at the rim (especially after that ball fake he likes to do) he'll be talked about with Deron Williams and Chris Paul.

It was one game though and one game does not make a player. He is a decent player who certainly has nice potential, but so do a lot of players. You are buying into the hype of an incredible game, look at his season as a whole and you have an average player.

| Re: Who Is the NBA's Most Improved Player? Yea if you base it off of stats solely , yea you have an average player. But stats obviously aren't the whole story. I'm not buying into the hype of one game. I'm buying into the hype of a kid , who was virtually a rookie , playing big in the playoffs. Bigger than Kobe. I'm buying into a kid helping lead a team to a title in his first year as a starter. That's definately not hype. I'm not talking about one game. I'm talking about this entire post season. In the post season (teh real season) stats don't matter. The only thing that matters is who holds the trophy at the end. Now we can talk obscure averages and percentages , but they mean nothing. Especially since crucial plays are hardly the ones that show up on a stat sheet. And yea , game 6 was one game , but it was the one game that mettered more than any other game this season. And in that game , he came up huge and prevented Kobe from doing so in the process. That is definately not average. |
