i doubt any of it will change when kobe retires. he barely got to 20,000 points faster thatn jordan and he had a 4 year head start. his only rings came when he had a dominate big man, jordan neevr had one. he doesnt exactly have the best additude. and wants to bail at the first sign of trouble. but man he's got a sweet LOOKING stroke on his jumper.

but iwant the guy who wants to help create a winning environment, not the guy who wants to be placed in one.

besides, who else gave magic magic johnson,larry bird, and isiah thomas that much hell by themselves

basically i'm saying that alotta people have jordan's additude. alotta people had his talent. alotta people had his will to win. noone had all three. and thats wat makes him michael jordan. wat i'm saying is that michael jordan is a one man army. wat i'm saying is larry bird, isiah thomas, hakeem the dream, jerry west, teh doctor, magic, isiah thomas and every other legend that calls him the greatest must know wat they are talking about.

basketball is the only sport where a player can truly be "clutch". the only sport where one player can TRULY put teh team on his back, and noone did it better than michael

aum they havent won anything since shaq left? how was he the sidekick? MJ was the bulls' meal ticket. shaq was the lakers meal ticket. if kobe left the lakers right now, they would be more than equipped to win a title. all he does is fill the seats, jordan fills the trophy case (..stat sheet, record book..etc..etc). how was shaq the "sidekick" when he was the mvp of all their championship teams? if he was a sidekick he wouldnt have won another title in miami. sidekicks dont win finals mvp's. robin never got teh girl over batman. pinky never got more credit thatn the brain. and as far as i remember, smithers is still 2nd fiddle to mr. burns

decade of success? you mean 3 titles from 99-01? thats 3 years. definately not a dynasty by basketball standards. and who did they beat in teh finals? sixers (which was basically AI by himself)? the powerhouse (pffft) pacers? the nets led by a declining jason kidd and a hobbling vince carter.

now lets look at a REAL decade of success.

1991 nba finals- bulls beat the lakers led by THE magic johnson and vlade divac. mvp-you know who-his airness

1992 nba finals- bulls beat the trailblazers led by clyde drexler,possibly the 2nd greatest shooting guard of all time. mvp-take a guess

1993 nba finals- bulls beat the suns led by sir charles (barkley) himself. o not to mention danny ainge and that richard dumas guy. mvp-get my point?

1994 nba finals- mj retired
1995 nba finals- mj retired

1996 nba finals- after going 72-10 (intact nba record) bulls beat supersonics led by sean kemp and wats that other guys name? o yea gary payton. and yes MJ was MVP

1997 nba finals- near the end of his career he faced possibly the toughest team in these finals. the jazz led by JOHN STOCKTON and wats his name? o karl malone. mvp-kj

1998 nba finals- same opponent as 97. same result. same mvp
