Cool Predictions

Anybody want to make their predictions?

Although I picked the Spurs originally, something is seriously wrong with Tim Duncan ( it's that plantarfatis....whatever). He is clearly not the offensive force he should be. So I'm going to pick 2 upsets in the Western Semis.

Clippers over Suns. Who's going to stop Brand?
Mavs over Spurs.
Heat over Nets.
Pistons over Cavs.

Re: Predictions

Eh, why not -- Clippers, Spurs, Nets and... Cavs?

Sure, it'll be wrong. But I've got to follow my heart on this one.

Re: Predictions

I conceur with Lefty on every pick outside of The Cavs-Pistons series. I assume you are in jest, and it would be funny if the scenario wasn't so egregiously improbable. Just how long are The Pistons going to dominate for? At least the next three-five years I would have to imagine.

Re: Predictions

More wishful thinking than anything else. Yesterday was a cold hard dash of reality, though.

Re: Predictions

So much for my theory on Duncan. He looked pretty damned good yesterday.

Re: Predictions

It should go seven unless San Antonio manages to break the spirit of The Mavs (again). If Duncan plays like that every game Cuban is going to go after Jermaine O'Neal in the off-season like a rabid dog goes after a mailman.

Looks like someone was correct about the Suns...thus far.

Re: Predictions

No kidding, 18-22 shooting from the best player on The Clippers and Phoenix still takes game one. Should be a great series. I am pulling for The Clips, but essentially my logic in the western conference is anyone but The Spurs.
