The NBA needs a senior circuit. Michael Jordan can still play a little; we know Charles Barkley can run, if nothing else. And all those retirees who wanted to come back this season -- Reggie Miller? Allan Houston? Charles Oakley? Gary Payton? Heck, maybe just put them all on one team and stick them in the NBDL, but let the seniors play all their games at home in Malibu. I think Shaquille O'Neal would retire immediately to join them. There's no way this could go wrong.

The fascination with it would be short lived at best. It works in golf because golf isn't as physical as some other sports.

I agree. I don't like old-timers day in baseball and in basketball it would be worse!!

I think it would work, but these boys are used to big pay...and there would be no money and a few hurt egos out there...I mean, baseball tried it and it did not work...

Also, it would have to be a scaled back schedule...maybe 20-30 games...the winner can play the winner of the WNBA...
