Question Any NBA stores in Pittsburgh??

Hi fellas!! This is the first message for me in this forum... I hope one of a long series...
I absolutely need some information from you friends... A friend of mine is going to go to Pittsburgh before Christmas and because of that I'd like him to bring me something of NBA... I love american sports in general (most of all NBA) I'd like to have some clothes for example (Hats, T-shirts, authentic jerseys and other things) of NBA, I love wearing Shooting shirts and Jackets of all teams in general... I'm used to follow the NBA matches on the satellite...!!! I always have a lot of fun!!! I've already finished to watch the winning of Chicago Bulls at the United center against Charlotte... Big Ben and Ben Gordon played in a very good manner!!! More than 30 points for Gordon last night!!!
I live in Turin (Italy), so for me is very difficult to come there in USA, but one rime I'd like to go to the united Center in CHI!!!

I took a look on NBA store official webiste but I didn't find any addresses of NBA stores in USA, I only know that one of the most famous NBA stores in USA is located in New York, but this friend of mine is only going to Pittsburgh for work...

I have also noticed that they're used to send all the products by airmail and the prices for shipping them are very expensive... so could you please give me some NBA stores addresses which I could find NBA Adidas official products in Pittsburgh or outside the city??

It's not important the team.. most of all I'm searching for the new NBA teams official shooting shirts.

Do you know anything of other american sports (like NFL, NHL, and MLB)??

Should I open different threads like this in the other american sports sections of "GOTEAMSGO" forum or is this sufficient??

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

I'm now waiting for answers then!!!

Cheers!!!

Andy.

Thanks a lot Tom,this evening I'm going to watch San Antonio Spurs vs Portland Trail Blazers!!! i think that'll be a very great Match!!! here in Itly at the 7.30 p.m., the match'll begin at 9.30 pm... I'm waiting for Duncan, Parker and Ginobili...

To LSC9901: you're very luck!!! Here in Italy you can't watch BOS vs CLE on TV, you can only watch one match a day, this morning I registerd CHI vs CHA, and now I'm wating for the Sunday lunch match!!!

At the moment I'm wearing a Nowitzki Adidas T-shirt bought last year here at Turin in a famous basketball shop... but they don't be used to buy authentic jerseys and shooting shirts because they could not fid them in Italy, they've to buy them in USA and the costs for shipping the product from USA to Europe are very high!!! What an unluck!! I've to hope that someone here give me some indications for a shop in Pittsburgh... although I imagine that there people are not used to follow NBA matches bacause there are no NBA teams based there...

Re: Any NBA stores in Pittsburgh??

I'm flipping between the Celtics and a few football games but as of now it looks like we put it away as the Celtics lead by 20 with 7 minutes to go.

Hey, Andy, and welcome. Your best bet is to look for a Dick's Sporting Goods. I don't live in Pittsburgh, but I'm close and I've been there a lot. Can't think of any NBA specific locations, but Dick's seems to be the biggest one in the Pittsburgh area. Also there are Champs Sports and Play it Again Sports (mostly used gear) locations in the area.

Re: Any NBA stores in Pittsburgh??

Andy your best bet in my opinion is the NBA's official shop at NBA.com. That's where I got my Celtics calendar for 2008.

I've also noticed that they have a shop in Tarentum, PA... do you live in Tarentum or near??

Re: Any NBA stores in Pittsburgh??

Me, I live in Ohio. We have a Dick's here too. I haven't been there for a while, sadly, so I don't know if they have the particular shirt's you're looking for. As far as which is the biggest in the Pittsburgh area, sadly, I'm not 100% sure - but the ones in Monroeville (just outside Pittsburgh) and the one at Robinson Town Center are good sized ones. Century III Mall in West Mifflin too. Those are the three I've been to. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

You've been very helpful instead!!! have you seen that in the Dick's website are there all the shooting shirts of all teams??

I think that they've got them right now!!

I'm now watching Spurs vs Trail Blazers on satellite, the 2nd quarter is already begun!!!
I've also seen that The Celtics won against the Cavaliers today 80-70, well done KJ, well done!!!
