| Behold Michael Jordan's Earning Power ![]() In the wake of Michael Jordan's record-smashing divorce settlement, a few brave souls wondered: How will this affect His Airness's wallet? Rick Morrissey of The Chicago Tribune has the numbers for you: He's still safe, he's still magnetic, he's still bulletproof. It's why companies such as Nike, McDonald's, Hanes and Gatorade have ignored some of Jordan's peccadilloes over the years. It's why he reportedly still pulls in $20 million annually from Nike. |

| Re: Behold Michael Jordan's Earning Power Like the initial post said the best comparison is Elvis Presley. Although Elvis was an adulterer and drug addict (sorry to all who live in Memphis), I guess his death absolved him of these things. Jordan revolutionized basketball and his legacy is still felt by players today. If he's not the greatest basketball player of all times then he has to be in the top 3. He deserves all the money he gets in my opinion. I think this country needs more MJs.
