| I like my crow well done! I am the fellow who expressed no interest in the first couple of rounds of the NBA playoffs, saying that they were predictable and boring. I am here now, with a plate full of crow in front of me, to say I was utterly wrong and to tell you guys that these series are compelling. While I do not think that the Kings can win a game in San Antonio, they are clearly the team with the most energy. Artest has made Ginobilli look like a clown with his defense, and Wells cannot be kept from the basket. I am sure the refs will step in in the next couple of games and make sure the Spurs advance, but I would love to see them bow out in Round 1. The Lakers-Suns is just as exciting, with the "new" Kobe getting all invovlved. Luke Walton, who I felt was a solid player coming out of college, is contributing, and Lamar Odom is so vastly underrated it is not funny. Shaq is attempting to play himself out of the Hall of Fame and into a cop's uniform, but where will he find one to fit his out of shape physique? Dwayne Wade has been matched by the Bulls' guards and Miami is in big trouble. The Bulls could win in Miami. but I don't think the Heat have a chance in Chicago. The Denver Nuggets on the other hand should be barred from further playoff participation. I have never seen a team play more lackadaisically and uninspired, lazy basketball than this team the other night. The announcers said "George Karl must be in disbelief", but I am in disbelief that he would send a team out on the floor so unprepared and dead. Carmello Anthony wonders why he isn't mentioned along with LeBron? He is lucky I don't start a new thread here since he shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as James! With the exception of the Mavs, who have done what they needed to do, nobody is having an easy time. My dinner is ready now, I have to go. CAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! |

| Re: I like my crow well done! Don't sweat it, your premonitions would have been correct if they were for the past three seasons. However the bottom four playoff seeds in the western conference this year are better than in recent years past, while the top four seeds are slightly worse. In the east, outside of Detroit there are not any real powerhouses, and even they managed to lose by twenty on Saturday. In all honesty, there won't be any tremendous upsets unless The Pistons or Spurs lose. Even The Heat were sketchy all season. |
