This first round has been relatively entertaining yet dull at the same time. A couple of the series are just throwaways (Pistons-Bucks, Heat-Bulls, I would put Grizzlies-Mavs here, but I want to see how Memphis does at hom before I write them off). But the rest have either competitive basketball (Nets-Pacers), intriguing sub-plots (Spurs-Kings for the always attention grabbing Artest factor, Clippers-Nuggets, because The Clippers winning anything in April/May is intriguing) or both (Wizards-Cavs, regardless of how sloppy the play is, it is competitive and LeBron is intricately involved, Lakers-Suns, by far and away the most engaging series). I have been pleasantly surprised, its a shame they still have a few weeks between games.

Well, after that twenty point shelling The Heat endured last night it just might be. I think I have been approaching this series all wrong, becuase my opinion of the Heat is low relative to Championship caliber teams. My opinion of The Bulls is low but it is relative to playoff teams in general. So in that case, I guess this could be a series. But I still think the Heat will win in five.
However, teams in title contention do not lose too teams like the Bulls by twenty.
