| Re: Best NBA Teams of All-Time ""The 96 Bulls are the only team in NBA history to lead the league in BOTH offense AND defense. This case is closed."" Time to reopen the case, the Bulls had this distinction because every team in the league pretty much SUCKED. Also, the Bulls' record was inflated because they had six easy wins against first-year expansion teams. In terms of average margin of victory, the 1985-86 Boston Celtics beat the 1996 Bulls. The 1985-86 Celtics are the best team and the only team that could've possibly beaten the 86 Celtics is the 1966-67 76ers. |

| Re: Best NBA Teams of All-Time Best team i've seen in my lifetime was the Bulls dynasty of the 90's. Everybody had a job to do and did it, having big stars at every position is great but with the current salary cap conditions it's hard to build the all star lineup's anymore. The 90's Bulls had obvious quality in MJ and Pip but the hard working role players at the other positions where just as important in the dominance that Chicago enjoyed. Since then the only team I can really rate is San Antonio, they are there or there abouts every year. Other teams like Dallas and the Suns have been consistent in winning games the last few years but they dont have titles to back it all up. Perhaps the Lakers when they had Shaq and Kobe but now they are lucky to make the playoffs and appear unwilling to recruit the players neccesary to make a legitimate run at the title each year.

| Re: Best NBA Teams of All-Time The best team all time is the Chicago bulls 96 with Michael Jordan as their go to guy. MJ gave this team 6 rings in their belt to create a dynasty in the state of Chicago This team made NBA a buzz in other countries none the less this team made the NBA a global spectacle. |

| Undoubtedly, the 96 chicago bulls are the greatest team of all time. Under the leadership of Jordan, they won 72 regular-season games and only lost 10. They won 14 of their first 15 playoff games. The Bulls were so dominant that they were ranked 1st in offensive and defensive efficiency. Three bulls of 5 total nba players were chosen to the all defensive team; and 2 bulls made the all nba team. It has been said that they were better than the all-star team of the same year… minus the bulls players. With names like Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kerr and Toni Kukoc(6th man of the year), not to mention a coach like Phil Jackson, this team was pretty much “unbeat-a-bull”—in fact, seven of its playoff wins were by 17 points or more. The only blemish was the Bulls’ two losses to the Sonics in the Finals, even though they were up 3-0 at that time and became the NBA Champions for the 4th time. |

| Re: Best NBA Teams of All-Time yea i gotta agree with the 96 bulls. mainly cuz that's when mj23 was like wine perfectly aged and matured to the second. wat about the bucks team with oscar and kareem? in ten years we'll be looking at this year's lakers team and saying he same thing. of course kobe, but they got pau gasol for a handful of beans. the seriously underrated lamar odom. and the role players. not quite as intense as the 96 bulls but some similarities. the lakers and celtics teams of the 80's dominated. the 96 bulls an lakers and celtics of hte 80's woulda dominated any era of basketball. unfortunately the game is so watered down nowadays

Dominance like that absolutely crushes the Shaq/Kobe "Three-Peat" any day of the week, I'm afraid. |
