Cool Charles Barkley makes the Hall...

Charles Barkley and Dominique Wilkins, two of the NBA's great forwards, were among the six named to the Hall of Fame Monday.

Both Barkley and Wilkins I always felt were a shoe in...Dumars with me remains iffy, but hey he got in...sooo

Cool Re: Charles Barkley makes the Hall...

I don't even think Dumars is iffy. He should be a no. Barkley no-brainer. What a phenominal player he was.

Re: Charles Barkley makes the Hall...

Usually HOF induction speeches are bland and full of melodrama. Barkley's should be a welcomed differentiation to the norm. Speaking of which, is Rodman hall of fame worthy? I would have to conclude that he is.

Rodman was one dimensional, but he dominated the boards long enough for me to agree with you...that and he married Carmen Elektra...soooo

He got out early to, imagine how much more broke he would be if he hadn't.

Re: Charles Barkley makes the Hall...

Whats weird about Rodman is there is a generation of kids who probably are familiar with him, but have no idea he played in The NBA and was a defensive/rebounding powerhouse for about ten years. Does anyone under the age of fifteen even realize he played basketball? or do they just associate him with the other C-list celebrities that jump from reality show to reality show without any knowledge of how these people are actually famous? Kind of strange but I suppose he made his bed with this one. I always quantify Ben Wallace as a poor man's Dennis Rodman.
