I'd like to agree with you, but both Dirk and Nash have him trumped. Maybe even Duncan.

Stats leader? Well, he is among the stats leaders, but... the top three scorers are Kobe, Carmello and Arenas. Garnett, Chandler, Howard are 1-2-3 in rebounds. Assists leaders are Nash, Williams, and Kidd. James is actually 5th in scoring, 15th in assists and out of the top 30 with 6.8 rebounds per game. He's also not top 10 in FG % or 3-point %. I'm a big LeBron guy, but the numbers just aren't in his favor.

Re: Who is MVP of BasketBall so far?

I hate to say it, but I think Nash will get it again. They may give it to Dirk just so they don't have to give tit to Nash again.

Re: Who is MVP of BasketBall so far?

The Suns can barely function without Nash on the floor; he is far and away the MVP of the league again. As opposed to other players like James and Kobe whose team are awful without them but still not all that great with them, the Suns are very good with Nash but terrible when he is out.

Re: Who is MVP of BasketBall so far?

Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron James...

It all depends on which types of skill you admire the most.

Slowing down how? Nash averages 14.0 ppg for his career; this season he's averaging 18.9. He has a career 7.9 assists per game average, and is dishing out 11.5 per game this season. Even his 3.6 rebounds per game is up from his career average of 2.9. He's averaging a double-double for the year, and if you add to that how terrible the Suns play without him, and I think you have a geniune, bonafide MVP frontrunner.
