So what's with Yao Ming of late? He has been on a tear these past few 6 games...

...So did he finally realize he is the tallest dude on the floor? Can Yao keep it up into the playoff?

Playoffs will be a stretch without McGrady ... but this season really was supposed to be his coming out party and the second half of it definitely has been. Apparently the toe he had surgery on was hampering him in the earlier months before he was out six weeks because of it. His stats were about his career averages (19, 9) but nothing compared to what he is doing now (31, 12) since the all-star break.

Haha, sounds like a contradiction in terms from what we have come to expect from Yao ... And I would actually agree, but I think were about 10-12 months from McGrady pulling the oh-so-familiar "I don't like it here" routine and demanding a trade. I hope I am wrong but it wouldn't surprise me.
