I am a sports expert in Clarksville and I work on High School basketball players. I have ranked players such as LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, and many more. I spent about one month studying the stats of all the great players and I have come up with this list.

1. Tim Duncan
2. Bill Russell
3. Michael Jordan
4. Wilt Chamberlain
5. Larry Bird

If you dont agree well that is fine. That is the beauty of sports, somebody can have an opinion. Here is also my all time team.

PG: Oscar Robertson
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Larry Bird
PF: Tim Duncan
C: Bill Russell

That team has a total of 25 titles in their careers and 16 MVP awards.

1. MJ23. Wasn't a giant like the 5 great centers. Played in teh toughest defensive era. Won all the time. undefeated in finals. More clutch than a 6 speed manual in rush hour traffic.

2. Kareem. All time leading scorer anyone? Played til he was like 93.

After those 2 I can't differentiate.

By position:

PG - Isiah Thomas
SG - Who else ? MJ23 of course
PF - Tim Duncan
SF - Larry Bird
C - Kareem Abdul Jabbar

Now we can go on all day about the refs and fouls committed and supporting casts , but put MJ against any of teh greats and he dominates. Plain and simple. Besides, people make it sound like Pippen was the only reason the Bulls won. If so, they wouldn't have missed a beat when he retired to try baseball. Who else was undefeated in teh finals ?

But that's just my humble opinion.

I'd drop Isiah waaaay off that list...and Kareem as well...unless you want him in a list of greatest players over 40...
