In its two years of existence, the Southeast Division has been completely dominated by the Miami Heat, who have basically turned the division into a contest of men against boys as their veteran-laden roster has laid waste to a division full of raw, youthful teams.
Only the Washington Wizards have been able to mount much of a threat to Shaquille O'Neal,
Dwyane Wade and company, but it's not as if the Heat noticed. They finished a combined 24 games in front of runner-up Washington the last two seasons on their way to consecutive Southeast titles. The division's other three teams – Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Bobcats – have been in the midst of rebuilding projects with rosters overloaded with young players not yet ready for prime time.
Southeast's old guard - NBA - Yahoo! Sports As a Magic and Bocat fan I would love to see a changing of the guard in this division...and the Heats look awful tonight...maybe its time...though is any team ready to give the Heat a challange?...I think come 2009 it's the Bobcats division to win...
