Southeast Divsion Preview

In its two years of existence, the Southeast Division has been completely dominated by the Miami Heat, who have basically turned the division into a contest of men against boys as their veteran-laden roster has laid waste to a division full of raw, youthful teams.

Only the Washington Wizards have been able to mount much of a threat to Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade and company, but it's not as if the Heat noticed. They finished a combined 24 games in front of runner-up Washington the last two seasons on their way to consecutive Southeast titles. The division's other three teams – Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Bobcats – have been in the midst of rebuilding projects with rosters overloaded with young players not yet ready for prime time.

As a Magic and Bocat fan I would love to see a changing of the guard in this division...and the Heats look awful tonight...maybe its time...though is any team ready to give the Heat a challange?...I think come 2009 it's the Bobcats division to win...

You wish!!! Orlando will replace Miami in the time it takes the Bobcats to figure out wether or not to start Morrison. Like san antonio, Miami is getting old quick. Washington will compete as long as their big 3 remain together, but will not see the finals without putting caron and gilbert with a solid big man.
