Central Divison Preview

Ben Wallace's move from Detroit to Chicago might or might not alter what has been a Piston stranglehold on the Central Division over the past five years. Detroit has won four division crowns in that span, and ironically enough, the year it failed to win the Central – 2004, when it finished second behind Indiana – was the season the Pistons won the NBA championship.

After watching the Bulls pull to a 29 point halftime lead in the opener against the Heat...its hard not to agree with Kerr that the Bulls will take the Central.

Very well put, but I am going to need to see the bulls play together a little longer before I vote for them to beat the pistons out. Even though they lost big ben I do belive Nazr Muhammed will be able to fill his void much better than expected. I say detroit 1 bulls a very close 2 this year. Next year is up for grabs.

Talking Re: Central Divison Preview

I hate agreeing with Basketball Jesus, but on this case he may be right in the current context of who will win the Central. But, I do believe that by the time the playoff's are over that there will be little doubt as to who is the number one team in the east!
