| Isiah Thomas has said that the only untouchables are Channing Frye and Eddy Curry. The big 4 team trade I've been hearing is: New York gets: F Kenyon Martin, G Earl Watson and G Voshon Leonard (from Denver) Orlando gets: G Jamal Crawford, F Trevor Ariza (from Knicks) and F/C Darko Milicic and G Carlos Arroyo (from Detroit) Denver gets: G Steve Francis (from Orlando) Detroit gets: C Kelvin Cato and a 1st Round Pick (from Orlando) |

| WOW! I had not heard that yet empire. That would be quite the trade, and will surely help out some of those teams. I think that New York could benefit greatly, as Martin will thrive under Coach Larry Brown. I also think that Francis could help Denver out in the second half of the season. I would like to see this trade happen. It would shake things up a bit!! |

| Just what the Knicks need - another 50 million dollar player who has nagging knee problems. The Knicks should only be looking dump players and salary. Most Knick fans wouldn't care if they had some bad years if they were actually re-building but this is unreal. Jalen Rose, Kenyon Martin - who next? Juwann Howard --I just think about the Knicks and I need to pop a valium. |
| ||||
| We've got our first deal - Seattle has sent F Vladimir Radmanovic to the Clippers for F Chris Wilcox. Radmanovic was recently benched and replaced by Nick Collison, while Wilcox is averaging just 13 minutes and 4.5 points points per game. Does this help either team significantly? Sure doesn't look like it... |

| As a New Yorker and a Knick fan, obtaining Kenyon Martin might pay off. I had the pleasure to watch him on the Nets on the YES channel and I liked him a lot. One thing the Knicks could use is toughness and K-Mart would bring plenty of that. The knock on him now is that he may never be the same player without the chemistry that he and jason Kidd had together. Another problem is the fact hes been injury prone since signing that max contract with denver. The bottom line is that the Knicks make me sick watching them and at this point in the season, I would welcome any player who plays with emotion and toughness, since the Knicks appear to be lacking both. Bring on K-Mart |

| Now it's being reported here in NY that the Knicks are trying to get Steve Francis. Francis and Marbury together? There's not enough shots in the entire universe to satisfy them both. Having lost 10 in a row, you know Isiah is going to do something, and it will probably bury the Knicks deeper into the salary cap abyss. |

| Pundit, I agree! I would absolutely never put Francis and Marbury on the same team. What are they going to do, play with two balls? I do not think that the Knicks need another small point guard turned shooting guard turned point guard turned shooting guard! These guys are all about themselves. Like PigSkin mentioned, some toughness could help the Knicks out. It will be interesting! |

| I don't know but all the sports talk radio the past day in NYC has been talking about Isiah Thomas' hunt for Stevie Francis. The main conclusion is that Francis and Marbury would NOT be able to co-exist. Nobody wants Francis because he's a Marbury clone, just worse. Francis has been on 3 teams in the past couple of years and has been a locker room cancer in each of them. Hell, Van Gundy couldn't even coach him. Isiah is basically in freakout mode and knows he's gotta do something. Atleast Jamal Crawford's (possible) last shot as a Knick was a game winner, heh. |

| On Wednesday night, the Pistons dealt Darko Milicic and Carlos Arroyo to Orlando for center Kelvin Cato and a first round pick. Essentially, this is a belated mulligan for Detroit, who blew it big time taking Milicic No. 2 overall with the likes of Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade still on the board. Wonder if this pick will actually be any good? |
| ||||
| Agreed Lefty. If Dumars who makes very few mistakes is giving up on him, he must be an absolute bust. How is it that the Pistons can move a stiff and open up cap room and the Knicks can't? I'll answer that: Pistons are functional. The Knicks are dysfunctional. |
| |||
| Can you imagine what Detroit would be like with Wade on their team? The Pistons def. missed the boat, but it is amazing how some teams can recover from such a big miss. Cato will give them some more size up front, and a first round pick is always a good thing. I will be interested to see what Cato can do for them in the playoffs. |

| Detroit doesn't need anything, and giving up Arroyo was not wise. The kid was making nice leaps in his game in Detroit, and solid backups who understand the offense are invaluable in the NBA. More size with guys like Mc-D, Big-Ben and Rasheed already ... size isn't everything

| I agree that size is not everything, but if you have ever watched an NBA playoff game you will surely agree that it is much different than the regular season. The playoffs are all about defense and toughness, where Cato will help more than Arroyo. |

| Cato was more or less a cap move. He makes $8 million but his deal expires after this season, and from what I hear, they have no plans to bring him back. So you free up some money, dump two players who really haven't been contributing and pick up a first round pick? Sounds like one heck of a deal to me! |
