Who Will Lead The NBA

Within the next few years the NBA will be getting a fac-lift like none I can ever remember before. There are so many players getting ready to retire. What players will step up to become the new faces of the NBA?

Celtics
Ray Allen .. 34
Garnett .. 33
Pierce .. 31
Rasheed Wallace .. 34

Hawks
Bibby 31

Bobcats
Raja Bell .. 32

Cavs
Ilgauskas .. 34
Shaq .. 38

Mavs
Kidd .. 36
Dirk .. 31

Nuggets
Billups .. 32

Pistons
Ben Wallace .. 34

Rockets
T-Mac .. 30 ..... injury prone

Clippers
Camby .. 35

Lakers
Kobe .. 30

Magic
Vince Carter .. 32

Suns
Grant Hill .. 36
Steve Nash .. 35

Spurs
Duncan .. 33
Ginobili .. 32
McDyess .. 34
Theo Ratliff .. 36

Wizards
Antawn Jamison .. 33

Those are the 'stars' I see leaving the NBA within the next five years or so. There were some teams that had players over 30, but I did not consider them stars so they arent listed.

Now this will not leave the league without any stars at all .... Lebron, CP3 and a few others will be there .... but I do think it will leave a large hole.

Anyone else see reason for concern ? I think the Lakers and Celtics need to get a huge talent under 25 in a hurry. The league is muc better when those two teams matter imo

Re: Who Will Lead The NBA

Brandon Roy and hesitantly say Greg Oden of the Portland Trailblazers. Roy is already a young star who will be in the league for years to come. Kevin Love didn't have a bad rookie year last year for the Timberwolves and expect actually great things out of him at power forward in the future.

These are 3 young guys I believe could be stars of the future in the NBA which I follow very casually. I am sure others can name many more.
