Re: All Star Game Voting

kazmir is a good choice to

legend-why not cano, i mean cano has helped the yanks big time this year. he has batted 2, and 5-9 and has supported in each spot and he will prob be over 300 by the all star break the way he has been hitting.

Re: All Star Game Voting

Nothing against Cano, but this kid Lopez is hitting .282 with 8 home runs and 42 RBI on a bad seattle team. Cano, like most of the Yankees, comes up with a ton of men on base in front of him. Mark Loretta is having a good year too, hitting over .300 and is a much better fielder than Cano. Cano had 4 hits tonight in that debacle in Detroit, and will be on his share of All-Star teams, but I feel Lopez is having the better year so far. There is still six weeks to go, so we will see where they are at then.

What did you do with Mauer? The kid can flat out hit!

Re: All Star Game Voting

He is hitting .362, with 4 homers and 25 RBI in 174 at bats
Hernandez is .286, with 8 and 39 RBI in 185 at bats
Both have thrown well, but Hernandez has been ridiculous-19 men out in 34 attempts- Mauer in 24.
This could go either way, average over power batting wise, but i figure Hernadez has earned this in his eighth year. Both deserve to be there-the sad thing is, the fans won't vote either one in.
