Don't know.... I love to watch big figures fall on their ass when they have potrayed themselves to be better than everyone, etc, etc. Do I lay in wait for it? No. Do I take joy in it when it happens? Yes.

In this particular situation I am waitin to hear all details before trouncin on the individual.

Don't you think that stuff is thrown in our face ??? Next time you're standing in line at Publix tell me how many of those trash papers you see and what the stories are. It won't be anything that involves some 15 year old kid collecting bottles to help save the life of a fellow school mate who is sick. Put Rogo's name on the front page and describe some alleged affair and bingo .... we're selling papers.

Does everyone fall? Yes.... Some folks just fall further than others. I have fallen from grace, mind you I have not believed myself to be better than others. I don't take enjoyment in everyones falls. Just those that have needed to be dropped a peg or two. I have taken enjoyment out of my own falls because I deserved it for actin like an idiot. Like I said though, it's not something I live or wait for. When it happens I smile and say it serves them right, then move on ( for the most part).

These points are all true. Sometimes I think people live to see the Roger Clemens and Britney Spears type stories because casting stones at them makes people ignore there own inadequacies and problems.

I do agree with you, Roger must have been living a good life. I have thought from his statement at the hearing on TV that he was close to his wife. But, maybe he was close to several wives. People in his position and stature can easily fall into the trap of assuming they can do anything and not have to pay a penalty. But, eventually the good luck runs out.

This all came about not because of the FBI investigation but, because of his personal defamation law suit against steroid accuser Brian McNamee. It looks like McNamee's lawyers are working better than Roger's lawyers. It's probably time for Roger to get a new law team.
