So you wanna know why we drag them through the dirt? Thats easy, They were lucky enough and had the privelidge to play the game they love for millions of dollars and some have chosen to kill dogs and others have chosen to cheat. You act like someone had a personal vedetta with vick, he was guilty for the death of dozens of dogs what do you expect. Now whether you morally think theres anything wrong with a 28yr old and 15yr old having sexual intercourse is not the question, its against the law. True, she could be lying, or she could be telling the truth. we dont know for sure yet. But it does make me question the man who was a huge role model for many people and a great pitcher to see that he actually cheated the game and has poor moral standards..I hope im wrong, and hes clean of all us..

Well I care and as far as I'm concerned I'm important in my personal stand on morals. He and many other athletes have the power to persuade how our younger athletes live their lives. If it's OK for Rogo then it must be OK for everyone. I sure hope you're there to lock the cell if and when he is convicted of being involved with a 15 year old.

I'll take my stand and say that until all of the story is told and verified he is not guilty. This could be a case of her trying to reinvigorate her career at his expense. I wasn't there so I really don't know, but I will tell you that once proven guilty I would refuse to pee on the man if he were on fire. My morals are not perfect but I have an idea of what is morally correct and what isn't. Maybe too much money makes a difference.

I guess I must have missed something I wrote. I'm not hanging the guy. I've stated twice that until proven guilty he is innocent. All the other names that have been tossed out by others in this thread are irrelevant. The thread subject is about Rogo. Yes I claim to have morals. Morals that would never permit me to engage in any type of relationship with a 15 year old girl. Maybe Rogo's are the same way also ... I don't know. I'm not throwing stones at him so when I do slip off my mountain top I'll willingly accept being thrown out of the GTG HOF ... if I ever get in.

When you become a celebrity the rules change. It's sick, but Roger Clemens knew this **** would go down if he was caught, just like spitzer did. they all did, and a bunch of them are out there right now mucking up... and i can't wait to hear how.

Why is that when a person becomes a celebrity or sports figure ( or whatever) people think they are no longer entitled to a private life? I think they are and it's really nobodies business if he did have an affair. After all, what does that have to do with him playing baseball.

I agree with you that they should all have private lives, but that said it is also well accepted that when you become a star athlete that you inherit the job of role model. You may not like it and you may not want it but none the less it happens. If kids see you do it and adults accept it because "that's the way it is" then we can expect kids to do it because my hero did it. Is that right ??? No it probably isn't. Few choose to be role models, but that is part of celebrity status.

Right now he is innocent. It's some writers word and her non-denial of the written story that is news. Let the issue spill out some truth and then decide.
