Is it true that Clemens if found guilty and faces jail time will get a pardon from George Bush? That would be disasterous in my opinion, his approval rating will be like .007% despite GWB leaving the white house in January.

First off this seems like a he said/she said scenario. While I believe in the innocent until proven guilty theory, I personally believe he probably did use PED's ..... but there just doesn't seem like any real hard evidence yet. Just what are the proven lies that will be sending Rogo to jail ?????

More wasted tax money. Investigating? HE LIED!! Now decide whether you're going to prosecute. You realize this is all OUR fault because we allow our government who works for us to get away with this stuff. We need to start voting people out of office who pee away our tax money.

I'm not arguing with you because as previously stated I believe he has lied .... but where is the proof ??? Did I miss something in this already long and dull proceeding ? If it is already a proven fact he lied then go forward with the prosecution. If it hasn't yet been proven then it isn't yet a fact that he lied.

Well, he testified under oath that he wasn't at some party that Jose Canseco threw a few years back, and now they've dug up pictures and supposed witnesses that place him there. So there's your perjury charge if they can prove it. Insignificant? Probably. But they busted Al Capone on tax evasion, so... I guess sometimes they go with whatever they can get. Odd feeling just there comparing Capone and Roger Clemens, though, I must admit. Surreal.
