What baseball players are actually clean?

Okay, name the baseball player you would bet the house on being clean?

I have to hope that Griffey Jr was clean. He has never been linked to anything. He didn't take anything to heal quicker. He missed almost 3 years.

Re: What baseball players are actually clean?

Jose Reyes, David Wright & Derek Jeter.

If not, New York baseball would be crushed (then I'm sure we would all become similar to Giants fans with Bonds who cheered him).

Anyway, this is the toughest question to answer. You can't tell who is or isn't (unless they physically grew a bunch of hatsizes as an adult) on something. Wilson friggin Delgado was accused of steroid use.

Derek Jeter would have been my second choice.

Griffey, A-Rod, Jeter, Cal Ripken, and Tony Gwyn are a few that come to mind.

Paul O'Neill. If I had to bet my house, he's the one. Among active players it would be Jeter.

O'Neil always had a cean cut imagine...always wondered why the Reds let him go.

One of the worst mistakes they have made IMO. He was a consistent left hand bat with power. You can't find those everywhere. He was one of my favorites on the 1990 roster.

I wouldn't bet on A-Rod just yet. Canseco is naming him, and he hasn't been wrong yet. I can't wait to read the next book.

Which could be why he named him, to sell the next book.

Cool Re: What baseball players are actually clean?

There are so many from a decade ago...Don Mattingly, Wade Boggs, etc....

From the present players: I would bet Ichiro Suzuki and Mariano Rivera are clean.
