You may think it looks like that, but it's not. Selig wanted a study to see how bad the problem was. This is the best Mitchell did with what was given (ie. lack of current player cooperation).

Why do you see this as a witch hunt? If nothing else, it will force MLB and the MLBPA's hands to make improvements in the sport.

Ah, the MLB...PA...gotcha...good catch my man...

Because its a media circus...and few people named...you want to really help MLB...you deal with it and with the ownership...and when you have a process in place and are ready to address all transgessors etc...you make a formal announcement...

This is a circus and someone pointing and saying..."Look, she's a witch...she dance naked by the fire last night and I witnessed it...burn her...burn her"
