I like Bo...and heck I like Barry...but its a bit dumb to lie to Uncle Sam...the Feds don't take kindly to that, even if you have hit +750 homers.

Can't blame him for that. It's innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, not in a trashy best-selling book or in the minds of baseball fans.

Probably not for 2 reasons:

1) The burden of proof is much heavier in civil trials ( See OJ Simpson case)
2) And if somehow Bonds is lucky enough to be found not guilty, no way is he going to take a risk of rehashing everything and being found guilty and re-tarnishing his record. Bonds is certainly not stupid, he'll leave well enough alone.

Pundit, don't you mean in civil cases the burden of proof is light (compared to criminal cases)?

The Game of Shadows guys have tons of evidence which they based the book on, all they'd have to do is bring it out (as they did in the book).

Now here is a guy who through his own admission says he does not follow baseball any longer and he is sticking his neck out and making that statement. I'm not saying that he is not right but why would you jeopardize your own image over issues you're not sure of ???

Well what is Jackson exactly doing with his life that these comments would cause controversy for him? He's not a coach, player or anything. Just a retired athlete.

I'm not sure what he's doing with his life these days but why would you step out and make a comment like that over such a controversial subject ?? If it were me I'd just sit back and say nothing until the facts were really out there.
