At the GM Meetings down in Florida this week, one of the major issues was debate about instant replay. The GMs held a vote and 25 out of the 30 general managers favor using instant replay for home runs.

It's still a long way away from being implemented. The MLBPA and Umpires must agree and in the end, it's up to the Commissioner to decide whether to implement replay.

True, but for better or worse, this is a step closer to it becoming reality.

What are everyones thoughts on implementation of it ?? In football you lose a time out if you are wrong. Any such penalty in baseball ???

Pretty much they only think they could strip from you in baseball is a mound-visit. I guess they could do that.

I think all replay calls should come from the official scorer.
