| Re: Most Underrated MLB Player I think you could make a case for Justin Morneau, even though he was recognized as MVP last year. His name is rarely mentioned when talking about great players. If I had to pick a Boston player it would be a guy like Timlin, who had a great post-season, plus the Yankees can never hit him for whatever reason.

| Re: Most Underrated MLB Player I am going to stick with the Reds and say, Brandon Phillips. he had one of the best years I can remember as a 2b....not his natural position. He hit so well last year they moved him into the cleanup role. All this and he was given away by the Indians for a song.

Isn't that what underrated means....being considered a bust and playing well. |

| Re: Most Underrated MLB Player Harang is a good choice. Lance Berkman too is a good choice. Others are: Matt Holliday Michael Young Todd Helton (I know people know about him, but he should get more props than he does, even with playing in Colorado). He needs 7 more seasons at 160 hits per to make the Hall of Fame though probably. I think if he falls 300 hits short they might not vote him in (and I think he deserves to be in). Michael Cabrera A few others. Past players that don't get the props they should get include at the top of the list Dave Concepcion. |
