Interesting...ESPN.com has a report up this afternoon saying baseball officials from each team held a meeting earlier today and George Mitchell's steroid investigation was a topic. According to ESPN, "Some officials came away with the understanding that the forthcoming Mitchell report would include many names; names which have so far not been disclosed publicly; and the names of well-known players."

An ESPN source said, "This is going to be enormous ... it's going to be a huge story when these names come out."

It's believed the report will be released after the World Series and before the new year. Look for MLB to try to push it during a holiday if it is indeed damning of some major players.

Of course MLB still says nobody knows any names except for Mitchell nad that the report is not as big as some have said.

We'll find out soon enough.

Same here, I wish thy would just tell us instead of letting us all speculate for a couple of months.
