As of a few years ago, the minimum salary of a MLB player was $300,000. Plus, once you're called up and have either a single bat or inning pitched, you will have medical insurance for the rest of your life whether you stick in the Majors or not.

So here is what I am curious about. Big gun players sign mulit year contracts for major bucks. Generally how are they paid. Is it a long term payment, insurance coverage, homes, autos etc ???? Any good sites showing signed deals?
