| Fake Steal
im sitting here watching the Red Sox beating the D-Rays ..... and i got to wondering
why dont more people fake steal ..... i mean take off like youre headed to second ...... fully knowing you dont intend to steal the base, so if the catcher throws a strike to second you can easily get back to first .... but, if the ball happens to get away from the catcher and sail out to center, it would seem you could take second easily
i would think it would happen once in awhile ..... so why not try it at least a couple times a game ?
