AL wins All-Star Game

The American League won yesterday's All-Star Game, beating the NL 5-4.

According to the Associated Press, "In a decade of dominance, the AL has won 10 straight games played to a decision, with the notorious 2002 tie at Milwaukee interrupting the run. The only longer streak was when the NL took 11 in a row from 1972-82."

Yeah, I thought they had it when they loaded the bases...why the heck did they not send in Pujols then?

Naw man...you got to let Albert swing with the bases loaded and the game on the line...a hit ends the game cause the runner on second is going to go on the any contact with the ball...

Re: AL wins All-Star Game

I can't believe La Russa didn't let Pujols pinch-hit for Hudson (with two on and two out) or Rowand (with the bases loaded). What a perfect opportunity to use him! Don't understand what was the thought process there.... and Pujols was def. ticked off after the game.
