What's the atmosphere like at a Giants/Dodgers game,ccores? Is it intense?

We don't get too much of the rivalry out here. too far away. We are drowned in Yankee/Red Sox debates. It is at the point that I won't watch any of their games anymore. Does it get over played like that out there?

Also, I thought SF big rival was the A's... the battle of the bay and all.
