MLB Wild Card Race 2007

i know it's early yet for most of you to think of the MLB Wild Card Race for 2007 ........ but it makes me giddy

as of tonight the Tigers are in the Wild Card spot for the AL

they are followed by the White Sox ....... Mariners ....... A's ........ then the Yankees (that's right, not only are the Yankees 9.5 games out of the AL East, they are in 5th place in the AL Wild Card Race )

now i know many fans of these teams will be saying "but it's only May" ...... would you be saying that if your team were in 1st ?

Re: MLB Wild Card Race 2007

The Mariners are horrible, how are they 3rd in the WC race right now. But talking about the wild card at this point is silly. No team should be shooting for that, there's still plenty of time for divisions to flip...ie. Boston getting into a slump.

We are only about two months into baseball. Who cares?

The Yankees shall improve.

I don't expect any Yankee support from you, SimpleSimon. You like those rotten Red Sox!
