unbeaten & winless teams

Interesting list of undefeated and winless MLB teams through 3 games.

Unbeatens include Minnesota (the lone AL unbeaten), the Braves, the Mets, and the Pirates, while Baltimore, Texas, the Phillies, the Cards, and the Astros have yet to get a 'W' in 2007. Obviously, Pittsburgh's the big surprise among the unbeatens, while Philly and St. Louis are the big surprises on the list of 0-3 squads.

So are these just fluke trends or is it an indication of how good/bad these teams really are?

They are just fluke trends, but the Pirates are going to surprise people this season. Their young pitchers are going to break out this season.

Flukes...but a team should get up to win at least one of the first three games...Cards and Phillies have no business losing 3...then again your GTG pitching staff has no business out pitching mine!...flukes!

I tend to think most are flukes as well, although I'm hopeful that the Pirates are better than I thought they were and I'm certain that the Phillies aren't as good as everyone seemed to think they were. St. Louis, the jury's still out on.

Re: unbeaten & winless teams

Even though My team Minnesota is in the unbeatens for this, its mostly a fluke because of the fact is that were gonna struggle (even though i still think they will win the wild card in the AL) and the fact is that we need more done in the pitching staff and a DH besides kubel, I think he is intresting now, but in the long run, will not go but only go so far for most part any way.
