Cardinal kid...Duncan I think?...I took a gamble on him...I think he had +20 dingers in about 280 at bats...I am hoping for a +30 season and that he qualifies later at 1B...

I never do well early in the season...I take huge risks and have to iron out the wrinkles...Gagne blew up on me... but it makes me go tinker and find the right people.

Nah, it was a nice day for baseball, and how about KC opening up the season strong, with a 7-1 victory over the Red Sox? From the looks of how KC played today, this team has improved ALOT from last year.

but the Sox have been bad on opening day most of the last decade or so, so i wouldnt put much stock in this game

There is a lot of excitement there as well. Did you see the place when the rookie, Gordon, came up in the first??? with the bases loaded and no outs. They expected to see something. A big change from the last couple seasons
