Of course, people love hating on umpires/refs/officials in all sports.
If our team loses the game, we can always use the zebras as scapegoats.

Re: Baseball over Football........

I still think my idea of executing the current NFL officials under Bush's clause in the Patriot act MIGHT save the NFL but were not here to discuss the No Fun League. Personally I think the major league baseball umpires are for the most part consistent and men who have learned a lot and no longer take it to heart when some 21 year old kid is up at the plate arguing if a pitch is too high when it's called a strike. In my view the umpires of major league baseball are men of honor, dignity and patience unlike the reptiles who spoil the current NFL product who are only out there to piss off viewers and ticketholders. My friend umpires minor league ball in Pawtucket (not sure where he umpires exactly but I heard he made the minors) and aspires to ump in the majors. Best of luck to Big Willie!

Hopefully, they will get a good team to go with PNC. Here
in Birmingham, Rickwood Field has been preserved and it
was modeled after Forbes Field.

Re: Baseball over Football........

Baseball is the better sport. Its an american tration, one of the first sports to ever be played in america.

Not to mention that baseball is american made and is the most popular sport in america.

Football is just 16 games. One injury can put a player you like out for ex. like 8 weeks which only lets a player play for only 8 games. If you miss 8 weeks of baseball a player can still play for 114 games out of 162 which is still alot to play
