Sorry, guys, I love baseball... but I'm watching the Yankees - Tigers game on ESPN right now, in the midst of a near blizzard. I look out the window and see snow as far as the eye can see. I look on the TV and its warm weather and they're playing a summer sport. My head hurts, and the sheer contrast between the two images has me afraid that I'm about to experience a Lewis Black moment. Something's very wrong about playing baseball in the dead of winter.

Move south....its in the 60's here...nice brisk wind, makes for good Spring baseball...

what you want them to do show up in april ready to go, if that was the case prior and wood have less time to get hurt, wheres the fun in that

Weather up north is crazy. In NY a few days ago it was in the 60s. Today it was probably in the teens. And snow is coming tomorrow.

But I can always watch a baseball game, even spring training.

I'm really not into spring training baseball. I can watch an at bat here or there, but otherwise, it's sort of boring.

I like to watch spring training baseball. It is usually the only time I can watch the AAA players play for the team.
