What has to happen for Bert Blyleven to get voted into the hall of fame? Does he have to die before voters will elect the man with 287 wins, 4970 innings pitched, 60 shutouts, and 3701 strikeouts. He also had a .969 fielding percentage, making 30 errors in 692 games.

Bert also was 5-1 in post season decisions, winning 2 world series rings.

Travesty...he is lost some where beneath Ryan, Carlton, Palmer and Seaver...masters of the era...but he still should be in by a landslide...

I don't need a baseball writer with his own agenda to tell me who was a Hall of famer. Blyleven should be in easily before now.

Even worse is, the number of votes went DOWN this season for him... how long until the Veterans committee can put him in without a f-ing vote?

I don't think Blyleven will ever get in. Although some make a good argument for him, overall support seems to be dwindling.
