| Re: Baseball Trivia: Who is the only... Wild guess: No, no...i was going to say Mark "I'm Not Here To Talk About The Past" McGwire, but i've rethunk this. How about Dave Winfield? By the way, i'd just like to say that you guys are some serious dudes. Let me know when i can ask one...i've got a tricky one that i'd like to test y'all's mental excellence with... Cheers.

Re: Baseball Trivia: Who is the only... I will show off and give you two- Bert Campaneris for the KC Athletics in 1965 and Cesar Tovar of the Twins in 1968. I just wrote an article on Campaneris, that is why I know the years!

Re: Baseball Trivia: Who is the only... I would not be silly enough to ask who the first DH was. But which player led all designated hitters in homers, with 20, during 1973, the first year the DH was used?

Re: Baseball Trivia: Who is the only... No DH in the National League, you must have misunderstood the question- This DH led all designated hitters in 1973 with 20 homers. Hint-He's a Hall of Famer!

Re: Baseball Trivia: Who is the only... I framed the question poorly, so you are correct. I meant to say full time DH. Robinson hit 30 homers, mostly as a DH-he played 17 games in the outfield. I was looking for Orlando Cepeda-he hit 20 with Boston as a DH in all 142 games he played. My bad
