So I heard this morning that Gil Meche was signed to a 5 year deal....with the KC Royals. I mean this guy is a quality young pitcher who is going to have his talent wasted in KC. If anything I think Chicago should have got him instead of Ted Lily. What do you guys think? If I was Gil I wouldnt have signed with KC no matter what the contract.

I was mad when I saw this as well. He was one of the free agents I wanted the Reds to try and go after. I think he would have brought together a rotation that showed promise last year.
