These guaranteed contracts are unbelievable. I look at the Kip Wells situation in Pittsburgh and it makes me sick. We have to pay this guy 4 million dollars while he gets operated on and rehabs.

We should all push for guaranteed contracts from our employers. There are few things worse in professional sports than when an athlete only plays with emotion and intensity when it is contract negotiation time. I don't get the luxury of doing my best teaching when it is contract time, and I'm sure the rest of the real world operates along the sam basis.

This situation is insane. Even a 50% cut in pay would make a little bit of sense (not much though).
