| Re: HOF Ballot Out Today PAUL O'NEIL!!! Sorry... big fan of the guy. Let's see, I think Rich Gossage, Tony Gwynn, Cal Ripken Jr, and Orel Hershiser would be my top choices. I'd like to see Tommy John be let in... he's been on the ballot for 13 years! |

| Re: HOF Ballot Out Today Gwynn and Ripken are the only locks. MLB definitely needs to start showing some love to Blylevin, Goose, Rice and Murphy. Big Mac will give us a good idea of how important the steroid issue really is to these voters. I think he gets in. |

Keep Mac out?...might as well say no players beyond 1990 allowed in for the most part...because you really can't seperate the did from the did nots...and baseball chose to ignore it all... But hey, its in the hands of the freakin writers to up hold the non exsiting and terribly bias standards of the Hall...so...we will see... |

| Re: HOF Ballot Out Today Hey guys why are you ganging up on poor old Scott for? He was an integral part of the Yankees dynasty, a clutch preformer and playoff wizard. Not to mention one of the best 3B at the time. Its a little bit of a stretch maybe but I wouldnt say I would laugh at it

| Re: HOF Ballot Out Today Yeah, what's with the attacks on Brosius? I think he is a borderline Hall of Famer. One who doesn't stand a chance this time around, but might get in in a couple of years. Scott Brosius stats: 11 years in the majors 141 homers 153 RBI 200 doubles 1,001 hits 544 runs His postseason numbers aren't too shabby ( 8 HRs, 30 RBI in 12 series) and was named the World Series MVP in '98. He's a Gold Glove winner and an All Star. Not the best, but still pretty good. Has a shot at the Hall... |

There are Hall of Famers, then there are Superstars, then Stars, then Semi stars...then, and only then Scott Brosius...not even superman can make that big a leap... |

At no time in his career was he EVER considered one of the best 3B in the game. His stats are alright but nothing special, especially nothing worthy of the HOF. Barely has over 1000 hits. |
