Re: SABRmetrics Firefrozen, I don't really know where you could find advanced Sabrmetrics, I mean I don't know how deep it goes. There are some sites that delve deep into this type of math, but I believe you need to pay for membership. Are you looking for stuff on sabrmetrics or sabermetrics? Two different baseball maths, if I'm not mistaken. MJHMarc, this sums up sabrmetrics.

| Re: SABRmetrics SABRmetrics is an invention of the Society of American Baseball Research, is it not? Wouldn't their website be a good place to find the ins and outs of it? I don't have the link handy right now, but you should be able to find them pretty easily on any search engine I would think.

Re: SABRmetrics The one i am looking for is SABRmetrics. I believe the basis of this was the runs created formula. The problem is that all these sites charge pretty high fees so i was hoping someone would just be able to copy and paste. If anyone can help i would appreciate it. If not thanks anyway.

Re: SABRmetrics Couldn't find much, but see if these sites help: What is Sabermetrics? Sabermetrics - The Baseball Archive Interestingly enough, there are even college courses on SABRmetrics. Weird, huh? EDIT: The formula(s) for runs created can be found at http://www.new-territory.net/baseball_stats.txt Also try Runs Created, Runs created - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and THT Glossary.

Re: SABRmetrics Thanks alot lefty the Baseball Archive site was good. I didnt think that this stuff would be so hard to find. But i guess people guard the formulas in order to keep an edge in fantasy baseball.
