Some Crazy MLB Rumors

So mlbtraderumors.com is saying Frank Thomas may be heading over the border to Canada to sign a two year deal with the Blue Jays! And it has been reported the Padres are expressing interest in Barry Bonds for left field. Anyone think these things will come true or are they just fluff to satisfy our curiousity?

Re: Some Crazy MLB Rumors

Thomas is probable, he'd play the DH and add some power to Toronto's lineup. I doubt the young Padres would take on an aging Barry Bonds to play left field in that giant park. (No pun intended )

Re: Some Crazy MLB Rumors

Thomas I could see heading up north. Toronto's close, and a bat like his at DH would make a lot of sense. No way Bonds would go to San Diego, though. The ONLY reason he plays in '07 is to break the home run record, and he'd never do it at Petco. Heh... he should go play for the Rockies and knock a hundred or so out of Coors Field!

Re: Some Crazy MLB Rumors

I cant see bonds going anywhere but the AL and im not too sure about Thomas. He could give them some needed power and maybe bring them back into contention but i doubt it.

Re: Some Crazy MLB Rumors

I don't think that Barry Bonds would give a team the same kind of surge that Thomas sparked the A's with last season.

Nothing against, firefrozen, of course.
