The Major Leaguers needed 9th inning home runs by David Wright and Andruw Jones in order to come back from three runs down and tie the Yomiuri Giants, 7-7, today. Jones homered twice, and Ryan Howard also hit one out of the park in today's game.
According to the Associated Press, this is part of a "five-game MLB All-Star series against the stars of Japanese baseball starts on Friday. After the first three games at Tokyo Dome, the series shifts to Osaka and Fukuoka." This was described as a pre-tour warm-up game.
