| What is the longest baseball game ever? Hi i have a question what is the longest baseball game i've heard some people say it was the mets vs. the braves and than i know a few years ago the cardinals faced the marlins in a 20 inning game. But i've heard a story about in the early 90's or late 80's there was a 23 or 24 inning game. I was just curious if it was true?      |

| Re: What is the longest baseball game ever? i think its 26 innings.....i know in the 70's maybe the phillies had a double header that had both games go 12 innings and ended at 4 something in the morning |
