This guy must have bad breath or sometin....T Wakefield,who is tied w/ 2 others for the best w/l record in the a.l. at 11-3, goes on the 15 day d l and it hardly made a blip on the media's radar.......how much of a fuss would be made if Beckett or Halladay were put on the d l....

You might not like hearing this, but Wakefield isn't as good as his win-loss record.

Wakefield probably shouldn't be in their starting rotation. The only reason they put him out there is because he's consisten, and because he's probably the best 5th pitcher in baseball. But he's not as good as his record indicates. Win-loss record is probably the most deceiving stat in all of baseball.
