Ravens offense struggles again

Steve McNair's numbers may look good (13-for-17 for 80 yards), but the new Baltimore Ravens QB was sacked twice, threw a pick and was unable to put any points on the board while in the game. Neither Mike Anderson nor Musa Smith were effective on the ground, either, with Anderson running 7 times for 11 yards and Smith gaining 7 yards on 4 carries.

"The hesitation. The lack of execution. The mental errors. Preseason or not, you can't dismiss it," Ravens coach Brian Billick told reporters after the game. "That was a regrettable performance." So what the heck's wrong in Baltimore, and how in the world do they fix it?

Yeah, I was about to post on this...and say this thread...they look awful...I even caught one of their practices on TV...and on a one series of 11 on 11, Isaw Boller throw one away, and throw a second pass so behind a receiver it was almost picked off again. McNair is doing better, but can't seem to find the end zone. Was toying with adding Mike Anderson to my fantasy team...but not now...

Re: Ravens offense struggles again

Wasn't Billick supposed to be some kind of offensive genius? They look like a train wreck out there!
