Re: Ravens running back battle

This article offers an update at the battle between Ravens running backs Jamal Lewis and Mike Anderson, either of whom could ultimate emerge as the starter for Baltimore. According to this report, though, Anderson appears to have the edge at the moment: "Anderson has had a strong offseason thus far. He was present at every Ravens OTA, putting in equally dedicated workouts on the field and in the weightroom. During the practice sessions, Anderson worked with both the first- and second-teams at the running back position... He should prove to be a welcome addition to the Baltimore backfield, as he and Lewis push each other to improve over training camp." Knowing Anderson can play fullback too, though, think we'll ultimately see both in the same backfield?

Wow! What happened to the former 2,000 yard rusher Jamal Lewis? Will someone tell me please? Now hes battling middleaged Mike Anderson for his starting spot? How the mighty have fallen!
